Al Falah Foundation provides relief in the harsh winter of North India

Delhi (December 2023): The bone-chilling winters of North India are no less than a problem for the poor people. According to the report of Indian Express, in the year 2022 alone, this extreme winter’s had killed 2220 people in North India.

Al Falah Foundation, known across the country for its public welfare works, has been working for the poor and needy people since its establishment. To provide relief to the poor in the harsh winter of North India, every year in winter, the foundation distributes blankets and jackets (Hoodies) to poor and needy families under the “Winter Drive Program”.

Under this program, a jacket (hoodies) distribution program was organized in collaboration with ‘Children of Adam’ in a big slum of Kalindi Kunj, Delhi on Sunday 24 December 2023. In which warm jackets were provided to more than 150 families so that they could take a breath of relief in this extreme cold.

On this occasion, Maulana Saad Rashid Nadvi, Engineer Ubaidullah and Zubair Khan Saeedi on behalf of Al Falah Foundation successfully organized the program of providing warm jackets (hoodies) to needy families.

On this occasion, Coordinator of Al Falah Foundation, Zubair Khan Saeedi said, “Every year our organization works to distribute more than 3000 blankets and warm jackets to needy families across India. Like every year, this time too Children of Adam has “Supporting our organization has contributed 1000 warm hoodies.”

He further said that “In the coming few days, our organization will also organize distribution of blankets and jackets (Hoodies) in Supaul, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani and Raxaul of Bihar. Along with this, such events will also be organized in Uttar Dinajpur of West Bengal, Dumariyaganj and Maharajganj of Uttar Pradesh. The distribution programs will be a source of relief to the poor and needy families.”
